Visit of the Porsche museum in Stuttgart

Porschestraße 1, 70435 Stuttgart, Germany

On Wednesday, May 15th, the classes of 1ère sti2d visited the Porsche museum.
The new museum is the work of the cabinet of architects Austrian Delugan Maiss1, chosen among 170 teams . Its construction began in October, 2005, for a cost estimated at approximately 100 million euros. It was inaugurated January 28th, 2009 and opened to the public.
The museum has the innovative appearance of a plane seen from the outside and it was made in stainless steel, aluminium and is supported by a steel structure.
Inside the museum is white and shiny, to convey an idea of modernity. The exhibition looked like a track.
The cars were arranged in chronological order to show the evolution of Porsche.
Engines were behind the building to mean the propulsion of the building.
The surface area of the building is 5000 m²

This is the first Porsche created by Ferdinand Porsche
